RGA CONVENTION 2008 *******

As previously published our plans for this year’s Convention have had to be altered. I am pleased to announce that despite the limited time available we have been able to successfully secure the exclusive use of the Holiday Inn in Peterborough.

This hotel is family and disabled person friendly and ticks 90% of our requirements including 250 free car parking spaces and is only five minutes from the easy accessible train station and city centre.

Members must please note that the weekend for the Convention will now be on the 19th – 21st September.

Sponsor Azi's swimathon today! SPONSOR AZADEH (AZI'S) SWIMATHON

Committee member Azadeh (Azi) Zahed will be completing a sponsored swimathon on Thursday 17th July to raise funds for the RGA.

Azi aims to swim 3.5miles (5km) from 12noon at her local swimming pool in Chiswick.

Azi will be monitered and timed by staff from the swimming pool who are also giving her her own lane to complete the swimathon in.

Welsh Flag BBC WALES CHARITY BROADCAST

The RGA have managed to secure a BBC Wales Charity TV Broadcast in order to a raise positive awareness of persons of restricted growth.
