What is it?

The Mary Lindley Library was kindly funded by a legacy from one of RGA's Full Members who wanted to support education through establishing a lending library to help as many of the Association's members as possible.

The library contains over 60 books, covering a variety of topics, including Children's and Adult's Fiction, Parenting, Medical topics and Alternative Therapies.

A stock list is now available on the RGA website, and is also available by email or post. Over time we hope to purchase new books and update the stock list accordingly.

How does it work?

Books can be borrowed for a period of three months. Borrowing the books is free of charge for RGA members, but we do ask that you cover the postage and packaging costs and provide a deposit cheque. Deposit cheques will be returned once the book has been safely returned to the Library Officer. Any members who feel that they will use the library more than once can 'subscribe' to the library with a £10 P&P contribution and a £50 deposit cheque.

Once the cheques have been received, books will be sent out by first class post within two working days.

Members are also encouraged to recommend books for inclusion in the library.
